My Passport is Expiring!

My passport is about to expire this year. I need to renew it as soon as possible so I won’t be left out whenever there’s an immediate travel or when there are affordable travel air fares. I might  visit the Department of Foreign Affairs next month because I am not anymore busy during that time. My husband will also be getting a passport so that gives me a good reason to truly work on the renewal of my passport.

European Copycat

One of my closest friends just returned to the United States after a two year stay in London, where her husband started his law career with an upscale law firm in New York. She quickly adapted to the European way of life and fell in love with the culture. She adored the food and especially the fashion. I particularly loved the way she picked up on phrases and would exclaim something was “brilliant” or talk about taking her kids outside to play in the “garden”. Now that she is home in the States, it is clear that she misses it. Even the most mundane conversations she manages to teach us how the Eurpoeans do that. I prticularly love her input on fashion and style. As we were discussing which mens wedding band to choose for a Valentines gift, she took the opportunity to tell us what they love in England now. I was grateful because I, too, fell in love with the stunning black ceramic wedding band. Ceramic, I learned, is extremely durable and the color will never fade- unlike black tungsten rings. The gift was a hit and well, we think it’ “brilliant”!
