Indian Movie: Taare Zameen Par (Every Child is Special)

I never watch any Indian Movie (Hindi Filim) before because the common feedback I hear is that it’s too long and it usually involves singing time (LOL). But when somebody recommended this movie, I spent the whole afternoon just by watching it. My husband even got hooked and watched with me too.

“Taare Zameen Par” (Every Child is Special) is a story of a boy name Ishan Aswahti who is suffering from dyslexia and with the help of an understanding teacher he overcomes it against all odds.

This movie will truly change your heart especially in dealing with your children. It’s a good movie not only for parents but also for educators. As a teacher, this movie reminds me to teach with love. Love for the students is very important because it will allow you to do whatever it takes just to bring out the best in every student.

One more thing… please bring a tissue while watching. This movie will truly make you cry.
